Carolyn Anderson
SD #73 (Kamloops)
My traditional roots are from the Nuxalk Nation whose homeland and territory are located in and around Bella Coola, B.C. I am currently an Aboriginal Resource Teacher for Grades 8-12 for SD #73, and enjoy assisting teachers with infusing aboriginal content, worldview and perspectives into their classrooms and curriculum. Strengths also include teaching from an aboriginal perspective using holistic, reflective, authentic and relational styles. I enjoy working collaboratively with educators to improve the learning experiences of all students and by moving towards more safe and inclusive spaces, improving the outcomes for aboriginal students.
