One of the greatest challenges within DL and BL programs is effective communication (with students, with parents, and with other local schools).  Effective communication can improve success rates, as well as relationships with local schools and counselors.
In this session, we'll look at how the SMS2 is being used to improve communications.    Your students, parents, and local counselors can all have 24/7 access to their corresponding students.   Better communication leads to better programs and better audits.

Specifically, this session covers two overlapping topics:
  1. Using the SMS2 (student management system) to save staff time, improve your record-keeping and report cards, and polish your audit preparedness.
  2. How you can use your online infrastructure and staff to help your entire district better adapt to the new curriculum using BL (blended learning).
You will also find out that these two topics can overlap nicely with a solid district strategy.
