Jessica is in her seventh year of teaching and new to the world of blended learning. Melissa is now in her fourth year with NIDES. Together they have kicked off the first year of the Elementary Compass Program in Nanaimo.

Melissa and Jessica will be giving an overview of our new K-12 program called Compass.  Our blended program consists of a "Connection" and "Exploration" day that is supported by at home learning.  We will look at the success and challenges we have had during this first year.  Students will Zoom in to share their Compass day curricular projects, VEX robotics and maker space classroom.
